I began having hearing difficulties some 36 years ago as a result of service in the army, and as I have grown older, my level of deafness has become steadily worse. Over these many years I have seen many audiologists on both sides of the Atlantic — some good, some not so good, but I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found Independent Hearing Services (IHS), owned and operated by Mr S.R.Jones and Mrs B.M.Jones, both of whom are fully qualified hearing aid audiologists. As a result of their unstinting attention to my handicap and the solutions that they have provided to overcome it, I now feel almost that I do not have a handicap any longer.
