The Quantum 6 has 6 processing channels. The Quantum range is available in all styles from behind the ear to in the ear and is also available in the “Moxi range”which is a receiver in the canal hearing aid. The new Era processing chip is twice as fast as the old chip and therefore is able to carry out far more calculations more quickly. The Quantum 12 has 12 processing channels. The Quantum range is available in all styles from behind the ear to in the ear and is also available in the “Moxi range” which is a receiver in the canal hearing aid. The Era chip has 46 resolution sensors that continually monitor and assess the many different environments that we listen in each day. The Quantum is capable of using many different algorithms simultaneously because of the enhanced processing speed. The Quantum 6 hearing aid is the latest of the Unitron hearing aids which replaces the lower priced Unitron Latitude range. The Quantum range of hearing aids were launched in May 2011 and are powered by their latest hearing aid chip called the “Era Platform”.
